Linda Hasenfratz is the Chief Executive Officer of Linamar Corporation, a diversified global manufacturing Company of highly engineered products powering vehicles, motion, work and lives. Hasenfratz joined her father’s company in 1990 and worked her way up from the ground floor, experiencing all aspects of the business including running a machine, engineering and operations management. Since her tenure as Chief Executive Officer started in 2002, Hasenfratz has grown the company from an $800 million enterprise to an over $6 billion company. In the Fall of 2014, Linda Hasenfratz was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Manufacturing in Ontario, the overall Ontario Award; and, the overall Canada Award. In May of 2016, Hasenfratz was inducted, along with her father Frank Hasenfratz, into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame. Hasenfratz is involved in two for profit boards in North America and Europe, and several not for profit boards supporting various charities in healthcare and the arts, as well as women in business, and serves as Chair of the Business Council of Canada.
